Scam Reports Degen.com Active 127 views View on BitcoinTalk
What happened:: I created an account on Degen.com and deposited funds using USDT (ERC20). I only placed regular bets on major League of Legends tournaments, mainly the MSI, using common markets such as total kills and match winner.

After winning several bets, When i try to withdraw Degen.com liquidated all of my winnings, claiming "sports betting abuse." They have not provided any evidence or a specific explanation of what I supposedly did wrong. Instead, they only quoted generic sections of their Terms of Service related to fraud, arbitrage, and betting abuse.

I have never used bots, arbitrage, or any unfair betting strategy.  https://imgur.com/a/vwKXfVt These are the bets I placed.

I am not impressed by their attitude, they should be posting in the threads where scams allegations have been made against them.

Oh, really? Tell the casino rep of Duelbits, that casino you are advertising in your signature, the same:

For case above, I was just reaching someone and ask for a contact, let's see if I can sit with DuelBits and get the case deescalated.

For this case, Degen made it clear that they prefer to have case resolution on CH and not on the forum [perhaps not for the time being, until they understand the dynamic of our forum more thoroughly]. So...

MaxTher, I can't mediate your case if you do NOT heed my repetitive advise to escalate to CH. A step closer to your case resolution [because, far as I can see, we're not moving anywhere here] is just one click away, on my sig.

Since your post, the degencom has been busy posting several times including today but has not answered your questions. I read your neutral feedback on their account, it is very difficult for any member to argue to have the neutral tag revised/removed.

I am not impressed by their attitude, they should be posting in the threads where scams allegations have been made against them. It seems as though they wanted to give the impression they were taking the moral high ground by stating "We have intentionally refrained from responding in this thread while the matter is being handled through the Contest Hunters ADR process" but that stance might have had some substance had it been related to that specific accusation any nothing else.

There are questions not related to the specific allegation or are generic therefore should be answered. What is stopping them from addressing your points?

Over the past few weeks we've seen a wave of newly created accounts following the same cycle: deposit, place a specific pattern of sports bets, withdraw, and repeat.
So you run a casino but don't want users to deposit, play and withdraw? Or do you just not want them to withdraw?

Quote
part of this pattern of sportsbook abuse.
If you don't want users to place certain bets, don't offer them! It's really that simple!

Quote
- Only the winnings from the flagged activity were confiscated, which was $108, not the player's deposits.
- In total, the OP deposited $358.50 and withdrew $468.36, meaning they left Degen in overall profit despite the confiscation.
That's a weird way to justify confiscating money! Winning and losing is part of the game, if you take the money when someone loses and don't pay when someone wins, your house edge becomes astronomical!

Our goal isn't to punish anyone, it's to stop abuse from continuing. We never want to get in the way of players genuinely enjoying Degen, but once our provider flags an account, we have to act.
How about you ask your provider to not provide bets that players aren't supposed to bet on?
Your posts on the sportsbooks in this forum are spot on. If the book takes the bet, then they should pay the bet. They can answer questions because the only question is what does degen consider abuse. What percentage does the line need to be off for them to void the bets of winners but collect from losers. There’s nothing secret about this. The same goes for all the books confiscating for value/soft/weak/arbitrage.

Yes, really. All casino representatives should be posting in threads where scam accusations have been made against them and they should be using the forum regularly.

There is a significant difference between the two because degencom is logging in to the forum to promote their casino after the scam accusations were made and is actively avoiding to post in scam accusations against them. The other (Duelbits) has not logged in since May 2026 and might not even be aware of the allegation made on 8th June 2026.

All casino representatives really should be looking at responding in all threads where their conduct has been called in to question.

Nevertheless, regardless of the campaign that I participate in, now that the scam accusation has come to my attention I have posted in that thread asking them to respond. Now, regardless of the campaign that you participate in, you can do the same for Duelbits there and Degen here, right?

Actually, what I am going to do is to put the whole Scam Accusations and Reputation sections on ignore for a while. I am fed up with this shit.

To give an update, the case has been amicably resolved on ContestHunters and both OP, MaxTher, and the casino, degen, has sucessfully meet to a point. This thread can be safely marked as resolved too.

If OP happen to read this thread, I'll appreciate if you can mark this thread as resolved by editing the opening post's title and add word "resolved" and then lock the thread [button is on the bottom left page].

For the time being, this is the last case against degen that get amicably resolved.

Thanks for helping having this issue resolved

For those who might not be aware, this is what OP said over there
I confirm that I have successfully withdrawn the funds and they have been received in my wallet. I appreciate your efforts in helping resolve this matter.

You may now consider this dispute resolved. Thanks again.

@holydarkness, I don't know if it's just me, but following up on the disputes is a bit hard with the way the posts are arranged right now. I think the arrangement with the oldest post at the top and newest at the bottom is much easier to follow. Like how it's done on CG.

Unfortunately, it's not my site. I am there at capacity of completely independent and voluntary conciliator. The dispute page is my "domain", for me to reply and make verdict and do other actions without the site owner's influence or opinion, but that's the extent of what I can control on CH. I can't do much about the format.

I think it's styled close to reddit?
