This is how gamdom really treat people. Don't believe this fake stuff you see on twitter where felix does something "out of goodwill" it's all click bait.

The real truth is they don't give a damn about you. They tell you it's okay to bet from an unlicensed juristiction as a problem gambler and accept your license provided in kyc from that unlicensed juristiction and allow you to bet on their platform when they shouldn't be.

This is how they treat you. If anyone else has had experience where gamdom has advised them they can bet from an unlicensed juristiction please DM me. Felix your company advised me I could bet from Australia and then passed my KYC. You are accepting bets illegally and knowingly doing it.

There will be some push back from this post and that's fine. It doesn't change the fact gamdom are operating illegally by accepting bets from unlicensed juristictions and this needs to be called out, especially by governments. Gamdom Support when you ask them if you can bet from Australia say a definitive YES (which I have also posted) I thought I was protected as they said I could bet from Australia it turns out this was a lie, therefore I am not protected under my national self exclusion in my country. Yes- you can use gamdom from Australia is pretty definitive to me.

Any talk of self harm they will also just leave you on read and not reply and close the chat. A really honourable business..

The support rep you were on to added a caveat after that for you to do your research along with a link to help that along. You can call it lazy support, as they should be doing the research and giving you a definitive response on if you can gamble from that region, but you were not misled in this case. They should also ideally not let you bet at all if you're from a restricted region.

The support rep is also not qualified to offer help related to self harm, they mostly just function as an advanced FAQ. You should see a mental health professional as soon as you can who can be of much better help. Best of luck.

That is where they were wrong, which is why I said they should have never ideally let you play on the casino. The player should always do their due diligence before putting money into a casino, and when in any doubt, favour the information in their terms not your communication with support.

Did they ban you at any point from being able to claim winnings or you lost money by just playing on the casino overtime?

If you've lost your money for wagering illegally it's best to consult a lawyer than sharing your grievance here though I definitely know where you're coming from and that's a total frustration. I think having government or authorities involved is more effective though that's a tedious and slow process. Just have communication with them would be your option but I was in awe as well on why they even let you in from their site if you're from a restricted region, have you somehow used a VPN service?

Suicide is not an option by the way. There's always a solution but I want to let you know that it will not be instant as always. Have faith that it will be resolved.

In their Terms of Service, point 3.4 states that it is the user's sole responsibility to ensure they are using the site in accordance with the legal requirements of their country of residence, and then advises reading section 10. Section 10 states that they may restrict your account depending on the nature of the problem.

In other words, the casino's TOS clearly states that you, as the user, are responsible for complying with the laws of your country. Therefore, they should have approved your KYC even if you are from a country on the restricted list. Now, you knew perfectly well that you were in a restricted country and still used the site. Therefore, you cannot blame the site.

The bugs team do actually take ownership and say it should have not stated a definite yes. So even they admit it was misleading.

I'm prepared for a lot of hate but i really dont care due to the fact i won't be here much longer.

The fundamental point is I am self excluded in a juristiction they don't license. They have profited $70,000 USD as a result of allowing me to bet from an unlicensed juristiction and they are profiting illegally and not paying tax in that country. It has ruined my life and I have no choice to do something drastic unfortunately as I now will be loosing my house. This is the stark reality of gambling and these online operators. They operate illegally. They post fake content online acting like they are heros. Aka felix and the way he portrays himself on twitter. Same with eddie and the mix.

Here is the post where the big team admits it.

WTFf, I never reviewed your recent posts before I replied above, but it turns out you already have an issue with them since September 2024 and yet you came back to have them your $70k? Why came back and now it was a jurisdiction issue when in fact you're already playing with them before? You've just confuse us here tbh. To be honest, you're not that insane to me having to read this thread of yours. Good luck though with whatever decisions you have in mind.

Gambling sites aren't charity organizations or anything and will suck you dry whenever they can since they are businesses at all no matter how much people praise some of them. In this situation, the mistake is definitely on your end op.

You should never have invested money which you weren't willing to lose. You won't get back your money and gamdom's reputation won't get affected which is why I advise meeting a proper mental health pro as @Upgrade00 suggested asap before doing anything drastic.

Based on your screenshot, the reps didn’t explicitly said you are allowed to play if you are from Australia rather he gives you the responsibility to check on your own if your country is ban.

However, it’s still shady to think that representative will not answer it directly considering that Australia is usually restricted to playing in most online casino with typical crypto casino license like Curacao.

As gambler, you have the responsibility to check it on your own.

OP clearly wrote that he is from Australia, gambling is legal there so he did not break any laws in his country.

He didn't break any laws of his country, so where do you get the idea that if he's from a restricted country, they should accept his KYC verification?

If that's truly the case, then this action would be unethical, to say the least, don't you think?

1.) I asked if I could bet in Australia due to my self exclusion knowing I would be protected if they are licensed in Australia (I was wrong based on the misleading information which clearly had a definite yes before anything else)

2.) If they aren't allowed to accept bets from Australia why did they accept my KYC level 2 clearly showing I was from Australia and Australian license provided.

I signed the register in Australia to protect myself. Even if I get the urge to bet the register picks up all gambling facilities in Australia and I can't bet with them. However gamdom advised me that you could bet with Australia therefore this was misleading and I wasn't protected by the register I signed permanently.

If they had advised me I was not able to bet with them and if they had not passed my KYC from a restricted country I would not have lost $70,000 USD

Based on issues with all other people who have apparently won from restricted countries if I had of won would I really have been able to withdrawal the funds. I think not.

This is an issue where they have morally and ethically done the wrong thing. If they had not have said a definitive YES and not have accepted my kyc from Australia we would not be at this point now.

It's all too late for me now unfortunately. Hope felix sleeps well at night.

Most casinos terms and conditions clearly state (or at least should specify) which countries are restricted. By registering, each user agrees to the terms and conditions, so the responsibility lies on the user side.

There are two things going on here – firstly, support told you you could play from Australia, as long as it's not one of the restricted countries. You might have misunderstood that, but you should be more careful.

Secondly, regarding the acceptance of your KYC documents – in my opinion, they did this knowingly and deliberately, allowing you to play, knowing you wouldn't be able to withdraw anything anyway. A lawyer should be able to handle this in right way.

Yes they undoubtedly passed my kyc documents from Australia so they can't deny the fact they knowingly passed my KYC from Australia.

Thanks to those who have messaged me directly. I will be gathering all this info and I will get a lawyers advice from the country gamdom is licensed in before I take drastic steps to end things. I am almost at that point and I am sure gamdom are pretty happy about that. Felix is probably jerking off to that.

Just 1 question that I would like an honest answer to. If you weren't playing on Gamdom would you have tried playing somewhere else? Be honest.

They shouldn't allow you to verify your account since you're in a country that's part of the jurisdiction where they don't offer their service as said on 3.4 terms.

Although the support have mentioned to make sure to confirm if your country is in the list of prohibited countries, I think with that upon reading it I won't take an attempt to proceed.

Because on a point of view as a user, I know that I'll have problems later with withdrawals if I'm from a blacklisted country.
