The idea is still the same if you look at the dollar value. Back in the day I have collected about 6 bitcoins from faucets but that didn't worth anything at all, probably less than 50 cents total.

It means if you work hard enough on faucet websites (not casinos that give our free gambling money but literally faucet websites like freebitco.in or whatever) you can still get 50 cents in a whole months work. That is not really enough to say it worth anything at all. The only difference between those two is that that 6 bitcoin I collected at the time worth around 20 thousand dollars right now whereas the faucet you can collect right now is still small.

For the website the outcome is the same, they get paid in dollars for ads and they pay out in small dollar value bitcoins, no matter how much bitcoin is. Gambling faucets are different than other faucets, other faucets used to mean you get small amount of bitcoin for clicking things but gambling faucets have always been there so you play in the casino and eventually deposit money in there.

As you say yourself, it is not worth it

Simply because you can just buy this dollar amount of bitcoins and forget about them for a couple of years instead of spending a whole month of your life wasting your time and effort. Other than that, with sites like freebitco.in you can in fact get much more than that up to a point of earning decent income and making living off it, but it still requires a lot of effort (e.g. via recruiting enough referrals). The bottom line is that there's no free lunch if only through luck. But if you want to test your luck, you are in the right thread already and don't need to go elsewhere

I understand they are definitely two different websites but I was thinking since they owned by same people the marketing would be same as well but they are definitely not. It is a good thing, stake is literally making a name for itself and getting bigger without getting help from using the name primedice, they could have just said "we are the casino version of primedice so we are good" and get customers but they made stake.com huge all in itself.

Yeah, I'm glad you noticed that. The team has worked hard to keep the experiences and communities separate instead of just cannibalizing the PD audience. Our goal is really just providing two unique experiences and with upcoming updates we hope to make that even more clear.

Yeah, it is definitely something I do admire as well. I am not so sure if it was a wise decision, in retrospect we can look back and see that stake literally made a name for itself without really using the name primedice, which we both agree that is amazing. However what if it failed ?

I mean there was no guarantee that stake could have been this amazing website that does its own marketing without channeling the primedice name everywhere and maybe that might not have worked ? You guys took a huge risk and made it out alive, I really respect that about the marketing team and really applaud the way they did their work but nobody can deny that it was a huge risk to even try it.

If you only plastered the name PD everywhere and say HERE IS CASINO VERSION OF PD , you would probably get cheaper and faster marketing, why go with a route that is harder and riskier when there was cheaper and easier option available ? That is some entrepreneur swag and success right there and congratulations for every single person involved making stake get heard.

Those faucet websites are usually a big waste of time. You are basically exposing your computer of getting malware installed and are forced to click thru and watch many annoying ads to make a fraction of a penny.

Then you need to wait until you have a certain threshold before you can withdraw and for most they never reach that threshold because it takes too long to achieve. Its also country dependant, if you are from USA you usually earn more but if you are from a 3rd world country then those ads usually pay less and the faucet pays even less.

Since the user is basically "forced" to click on the ads, it violates the terms of the sponsor affiliate company they are using and they usually get their account closed down and then they basically shut-down the website and never pay any pending balances.

You just love the competition and excel from it, many of us knew that PD develop a good bond with its audience and players, they've established
good business with customers and now Stake is also taking the same path, though the post above me got a good point in terms of marketing but
like what I observe you really love the challenge, and with what you have said there's more to expect from your house that will bring more audience
attentions.

It is mindblowing the time they waste with ads.
