I'd be better if an exception were made in the "forever" part to remove links that contain malware or platforms that can scam their users [I get that you don't like to moderate messages, but perhaps an addition of a report button that contains a field with enough character limit for in-depth explanations could come in handy].Post anything you want on this historic bitcoin website and it will stay for the future crypto community to see.
While we're at it, do you have any plans to restrict the link and messaging content to reduce excessive advertising? Otherwise your billboard will just degrade into an excessive advertising wall (with none of the design that goes into physical billboards).
cool project, you should definitely add bitcoin mainnet option as well like dkbit mentioned. happy to hear there is some kind of moderation, it might be a good idea to fix the wording on your website "Messages are not moderated".
Current fees on bitcoin mempool space is around 0.2 sat/vB or $0.02I only accept bitcoin with lightning for this service because the fees would be too high on the main BTC chain.
Even with 1 sat/vB that is around $0.10, and fees on lightning can sometimes be higher than that.
So I have to register on centralized exchange to use your Bitcoin Billboard.Now people can use lightning on coinbase.
No thank you, they recently started charging fees for 0.2% processing fee for Lightning transfers!
Other services charge even higher fees, and we also have to pay fees for moving coins from mainnet to LN and vice versa.

I'm really doing this with good intentions.
I'm currently running a bitcoin faucet and paying for it all out of my own pocket. I have no ad revenue or sponsors (yet) but I'm trying my best to keep the idea of "Free Bitcoin" alive on the internet in 2026 and it's not an easy task.
I think you could get more users to post their "ads" and messages on your billboard if you allow images. Maybe a small banner rather than just plain text.
BTW, what happens when there are hundreds of messages from various users? All of them still stay on the front page? That would make it a very long front page.
You should also restrict users from posting messages with massive amounts of whitespace, 'cause that would eat up a lot of space on the page, even with just 180 characters.
