I think it's better to show the list gift cards in smaller size, instead of only show 9 gift cards per page. There are so many gift cards in your site, like 1K-2K, so the customer need to click next page endlessly.

You have a point, but the culprit appears to be CoinGate's payment gateway [unfortunately].

@brmmark: Any plans to replace the current options with a self-hosted payment processor [e.g., BTCPay]?
- If you don't want to deal with the complicated parts, a non-custodial hosted payment processor (e.g., Blockonomics) also works.

You’re right – with 1K+ gift cards, showing only 9 per page isn’t ideal. We’re already working on adding a smaller grid and infinite scroll so browsing will be smoother.

About the checkout: the payment page itself is fully managed by CoinGate, our crypto payment processor. ACEB.com never asks for bank details – we only need an email for instant delivery.

Quick update from the ACEB.com team — a lot has changed since the last time I posted here, so I wanted to share the latest progress for anyone following the project.

✔ Performance upgrades 
We spent the last weeks optimizing both backend and frontend performance. Page speed improved significantly on desktop and mobile, and crypto checkout feels smoother during peak hours.

✔ Expanded catalog 
We’re now at 4,500+ gift card brands across gaming, entertainment, retail, food, travel, subscriptions and more. One of our goals is to provide one of the largest crypto-enabled gift card selections online.

✔ UX improvements 
Product pages were simplified, region selection improved, and the purchase flow requires fewer steps. No account is needed — pick a gift card → choose region → pay with crypto → receive instantly by email.

✔ Stability fixes 
A lot of small issues were cleaned up: pricing sync delays, slow search results, mobile spacing bugs, category rendering, etc. Nothing flashy, but the overall experience is clearly smoother.

✔ Regular content updates 
We’ve started posting regularly on our blog with long-form articles on crypto payments, digital gifting, platform updates and general educational content.

Hey everyone,

Just a short update from ACEB with a few meaningful additions since the last post.

SEPA bank transfers added 
Alongside crypto payments, we’ve added SEPA bank transfer as an alternative payment option for EU users. 
This option is mainly intended for first-time customers or users who prefer a familiar bank-based payment method before fully switching to crypto. It helps reduce friction, improves trust, and makes the first purchase easier — while crypto payments remain fully supported and unchanged.

Regulatory & payment layer 
Crypto payments on ACEB are processed via CoinGate, which operates under the EU’s MiCA (Markets in Crypto-Assets) regulatory framework. 
This provides a clearer compliance structure behind the payment processor and strengthens the reliability and transparency of the crypto payment flow, especially for European users.

Platform improvements (ongoing) 
We continue to make incremental improvements across the platform:
- ongoing UX refinements based on real user behavior 
- backend optimizations for pricing sync, availability checks, and order processing 
- improved stability during higher traffic periods 

These aren’t flashy features, but they make the platform more predictable and easier to use over time.

We’ve now passed 5,000+ digital gift card products, and the focus is shifting from rapid expansion to consistency, accuracy, and long-term reliability.

Another short update from the ACEB side.

Over the past months, one thing became very clear:

The biggest challenge isn’t payments or availability.
It’s actual usage.

Most users still treat crypto as something to hold, not something to spend.

What we’re seeing on our side:

• A group of users is very active (repeat buyers, higher volume)
• New users hesitate more than expected, even when the process is simple
• The main friction isn’t technical — it’s trust and habits

Where we focused recently:

• improving product clarity (especially region-based cards like Steam)
• simplifying the checkout flow even further
• reducing edge-case errors (stock sync, delays, etc.)
• making the experience more predictable overall

Nothing flashy — but it matters long term.

One interesting observation:

Once someone completes the first order successfully,
they almost always come back.

The problem is getting past that first step.

ACEB.com — September 2026 project update and an honest look at where we are

Hey everyone,

It has been a few months since our last update, and ACEB is now quite different from the early version we introduced here in September 2025. I am one of the people building the project, so this is a founder update—not an independent review.

First, I owe @SFR10 a proper answer about privacy and alternative payment processors.

ACEB's guest crypto checkout normally asks for an email address because the digital product has to be delivered somewhere. The crypto invoice is currently processed by CoinGate, and the processor may apply its own risk, compliance, or verification checks. For that reason, it would not be accurate for us to describe every transaction as anonymous or guaranteed no-KYC.

WalletConnect and Binance Pay are available through the current payment flow, but we have not launched a self-hosted Bitcoin checkout such as BTCPay Server. Payment-provider redundancy and a more privacy-conscious route remain under evaluation. I would rather be clear about what is live today than announce something before it exists.

What ACEB is today

ACEB is a live digital gift-card marketplace operated by Loyalty Vault SRL, a Romanian-registered EU company. It is an e-commerce service, not a token, ICO, investment product, exchange, or custodial crypto wallet.

The basic flow is still simple: choose a product that matches the recipient's country and account region, pay using an available method, and receive the digital code or redemption details by email after payment confirmation and order processing.

What is currently live

5,000+ country-specific product listings: gaming, retail, streaming, food, travel, mobility, fashion, electronics, education, groceries, and other categories across more than 50 countries. Availability and denominations change with supplier stock.

Broad crypto checkout: BTC, ETH, LTC, USDC, SOL, BNB, XRP, POL, DOGE, BCH, TRX, and other options may appear at checkout, together with Binance Pay and WalletConnect. The active invoice is always the source of truth for the asset, network, amount, and payment window.

Guest purchases: an ACEB account is not required for most crypto orders. An accessible email address is required for delivery.

SEPA bank transfer: registered users can also pay eligible orders by EUR bank transfer. These payments are manually matched and reviewed, so they should not be confused with instant crypto fulfillment.

Accounts and store credit: registered users can keep their order history and use an ACEB balance for future purchases. This balance is store credit, not cryptocurrency, and cannot be withdrawn or transferred.

Cashback: the current program provides 1% store credit on eligible orders of at least EUR 40, followed by a seven-day pending period. The live Cashback Terms control if these parameters change.

Referral system: registered users receive a personal referral link. A reward may be created when a new user registers through it and completes a qualifying first order. Rewards are non-withdrawable store credit, not cash or crypto payouts.

Clearer regional information: product pages now put more emphasis on country, currency, storefront, and account-region compatibility. A valid gift card can still fail if it was bought for the wrong region, so this has become one of our main product-content priorities.

Localized storefront and content: ACEB is available across 12 language versions. Customer support is currently handled in English, and we prefer to state that limitation openly.
What changed behind the interface

We moved from rapid catalog expansion toward accuracy and consistency. Search, category browsing, mobile layout, price and stock synchronization, and order processing have all been refined. The storefront now has dedicated brand-and-country pages, while our guides focus increasingly on payment safety, network selection, delivery issues, and region-locked products.

The project is no longer just a landing page or a proof of concept. It is processing real orders and has repeat customers. At the same time, we are still a small independent team, and there are areas where established competitors are ahead of us.

What we still need to improve

More payment-processor redundancy and a better answer for privacy-conscious Bitcoin users.Faster ways to browse and filter a catalog of this size.Even clearer delivery expectations when a network, supplier, or manual review causes a delay.More consistent product-level redemption information and broader support coverage.
There are also a few claims we deliberately do not want to make: not every card works worldwide, not every order is delivered in seconds, and no third-party payment flow can honestly be described as universally anonymous.

Feedback we would genuinely value

If you were evaluating ACEB as a Bitcoin user, what would be the biggest obstacle: trust, processor verification, pricing, regional restrictions, or something else?

And would a native/self-hosted Bitcoin checkout materially change your willingness to use the service, even if it supported fewer assets than the current gateway?

The first two are the biggest obstacles for Bitcoin users trying to use such platforms... Trust takes a long time to build, but a single wrong move can break it.

Yes, it would... As long as Bitcoin is supported on a self-hosted checkout, it increases the likelihood of trying such services [I couldn't care less about other cryptocurrencies], provided I also see improvements in the identity verification parts related to AML and KYC.
