Near Intent (near.com) LTC wallet offline?

Exchanges Near.com Active 37 views View on BitcoinTalk

I have been happy user at Near Intent (web method at near.com) for months, trades fast, prices were good, a lot better than CEX. 

However, last night I deposited less than $100 worth LTC into Near Intent, the coins not credited on my account for 8 hours. tried 2 email support through official channel, no real response, just AI answer saying they are aware of LTC deposit, delayed processing. The 2nd email no response. Something going on back end, it is almost as if the LTC deposit wallet at near intent is offline. 

There are another issue at near intent,  I wonder whether this LTC incident is related to alpha release confidential feature on near.com? It was forced on me on this alpha software release, I did not like to be alpha tester on near.com near intent software new feature, unfortunately I had no opt out choice, felt like forced into a buggy software user.   It does not feel good for now on Near Intent as it is supposed to a defi DEX.

What is worst case wait time? if this is defi dex, there should be a time line wait on a refund,  several hours? a few days?  swap deposit step failed, then trigger refund automatically. 

If this is more or less like a CEX,  then support  response time is concern,  it feels like a poor customer service.  < $100 USD worth of LTC is not big money, but it is still meaning sum for average user like me.

From above thread, it seems that most said Near Intent is mainly for small trades, not big trades.  < $100 USD worth of LTC trading swap is quite small in my case. sigh.

Have you tried to contact or reply on their  twitter handle? It  looks like they were very active there. Even posted an update an hour ago. I know they will just tell you to make a support ticket, so on and so forth. 

But it's good to let their community know how the project is going on, in several cases like this.

Just replied on twitter thread on this near.com near intent confidential feature, actually only released 5 days ago. 

2 email,  one twitter reply.  Their official support channel is on email.  10 hours past on LTC, still waiting.  Near Intent does not look good.  some kind of buggy software and poor service.

[/quote]That's the worst, i guess you will need to wait and let yourself upto date, so make sure to follow up them every now and then. Or it's time to say good bye to your funds there and use other alternatives instead with cheaper fee and of course, reputed enough to handle such technical issue or simple issue.

That's the worst, i guess you will need to wait and let yourself upto date, so make sure to follow up them every now and then. Or it's time to say good bye to your funds there and use other alternatives instead with cheaper fee and of course, reputed enough to handle such technical issue or simple issue.

I think Near Intent or Near official telegram and discord was the original ones setup by Near, but Near team is not active on either of them. Mainly scammers are there as my impression of try earlier today. 

There was report some problem on LTC github, a non-official binary release there. This could be a caution by Near to pause the LTC deposit while I was unaware of this LTC wallet deposit offline at near intent. I will report back here on the progress on this.

Yes, I forgot that they also have that github and reddit but the latter seems to be like a dead cave, not that much active community.

Maybe there is something happening behind the scenes that they are not telling as. With security incidents happening to those protocols more rapidly in the recent times, it can't rule out a security issue. There was an exchange that even just decided to shutdown because there were so many attempts to breach their security and they were barely catching up with the patching,

Your "My near.com address" (found in the menu) is for internal transfers between near.com accounts only. Sending funds from an external wallet to your near.com address will result in permanent loss of funds.

Always use the Deposit flow to get the correct address for receiving external funds.

What above is not clear was whether the upgrade was on near intent near.com  software issue (most likely), or litecoin node issue. 

Litecoin full node mining works fine now:

My hypothesis, the github at litecoin was hacked probably and had some binary release there on URL, but not as official release as no miners are using the new sudden binary:
https://download.litecoin.org/litecoin-0.21.5.7/

The above github certainly is hacked stuff, not true litecoin official release, no LTC miners will move into the above code. However, the hacking of LTC github could be targeting Near Intent assuming Near Intent automatically download binary from litecoin github, run full node of LTC.  Not sure how much this time Near Intent lost money on LTC hacking.  This is different hacking as the Joel said the last hack on LTC on Near Intent was chain re-orginazation, causing a double spend and Near Intent was losing half million dollar money.  Hopefully this time Near Intent will not be fooled or hacked by such low level github web site hacking.

No, the issue is not just me, any traders who deposited roughly same time as me got those LTC on hold, paused. As of now, it is still paused, pending for security upgrade.
