I want to share a serious issue I experienced on Stake.com, which completely stems from a technical infrastructure error on their side. Since their support team has been absolutely unhelpful, I am posting this here to raise awareness and warn everyone.

Yesterday (June 30, 2026), during the live match between France and Sweden, I suffered an unfair financial loss due to a technical system glitch. Here are the details of the incident:

🚨 Incident Summary & Technical Issue

During the live match, I attempted to place a bet of €652.17. While the coupon was processing, the system generated a "Bet Rejected" error.

Because the bet was rejected, the €652.17 stake was immediately credited back to my active account balance.

Since the platform explicitly stated that the wager failed and returned my funds, I closed the website, confident that no active bet was running.

After the match concluded, I logged back into my account only to discover that Stake.com had retroactively and automatically approved the previously rejected coupon without my consent or knowledge. Since the bet lost, my balance was wiped out.

⚠️ Grounds for Complaint

Lack of User Consent: The system officially told me "This bet was not placed" and refunded my money. It was impossible for me to monitor, manage, or cash out a bet that I was told did not exist.

Unfair Practice: Despite contacting Stake support, they refuse to acknowledge this blatant system lag and technical glitch. Reviving a rejected coupon after the match progression is completely unacceptable.

I have already submitted an official complaint to the Curacao Gaming Authority (CGC) demanding an investigation into their system logs for this Bet ID.

Has anyone else experienced a similar glitch on this platform, or do you have any advice on how to proceed? Be very careful with live betting on Stake.

If that happened opening a case with their support people can help you get your balance back. It is very strange for a bet to be processed after a user has logged out of the platform as this logging out clearly stops all activity on the platform for this user so no balance should have been touched. Mine was not in stake but I have experienced a similar scenereo. Mine was when I wanted to play after setting the about on the game, I clicked play and immediately I got error and the amount I place for the game disappeared but my capital was intact but this your case is different which you said even the balance in your account disappeared. There is something wrong somewhere, contact them from all the channels to verify the issue.

The live support team isn’t even replying to me. The last thing they said was, ‘It doesn’t matter where you post this or who you complain to.’ I reckon Stake is run by teenage kids. Be careful.

It turns out it’s a site so dodgy it would steal my 652 euro stake.

I have been noticing a lot of things breaking with Stake. They had an issue with deposits and withdraws just a few days ago, and it appears its a frequent issue.

This shouldnt happen but stake is too big to care now or actually solve normal users issues like this

In earlier days we could talk to dusan/darko in chat and they would actually solve sports issues, myself got refunded 200-300$ on system issues , but now support is just copy paste human bots

My suggestion is to try to get this some traction on X and tagging eddie. He is a busy busy man but maybe he does something

I have never just automatically closed a website if a bet didn't work, I usually try to place the bet again or refresh and retry, then go to support and ask what the issue is. You did none of that which sounds very odd. On top of that, you logged in directly after the match concluded? Sounds odd to say the least. Feels like a case of you thought you had a free bet and could complain regardless of the outcome. If the bet lost you do this, if the bet won and you weren't paid you complain they accepted the bet.

Maybe I am wrong idk. You were going to make the bet and would have lost so really you lost nothing right?
