I want to share a serious issue I experienced on Stake.com, which completely stems from a technical infrastructure error on their side. Since their support team has been absolutely unhelpful, I am posting this here to raise awareness and warn everyone.

Yesterday (June 30, 2026), during the live match between France and Sweden, I suffered an unfair financial loss due to a technical system glitch. Here are the details of the incident:

🚨 Incident Summary & Technical Issue

During the live match, I attempted to place a bet of €652.17. While the coupon was processing, the system generated a "Bet Rejected" error.

Because the bet was rejected, the €652.17 stake was immediately credited back to my active account balance.

Since the platform explicitly stated that the wager failed and returned my funds, I closed the website, confident that no active bet was running.

After the match concluded, I logged back into my account only to discover that Stake.com had retroactively and automatically approved the previously rejected coupon without my consent or knowledge. Since the bet lost, my balance was wiped out.

⚠️ Grounds for Complaint

Lack of User Consent: The system officially told me "This bet was not placed" and refunded my money. It was impossible for me to monitor, manage, or cash out a bet that I was told did not exist.

Unfair Practice: Despite contacting Stake support, they refuse to acknowledge this blatant system lag and technical glitch. Reviving a rejected coupon after the match progression is completely unacceptable.

I have already submitted an official complaint to the Curacao Gaming Authority (CGC) demanding an investigation into their system logs for this Bet ID.

Has anyone else experienced a similar glitch on this platform, or do you have any advice on how to proceed? Be very careful with live betting on Stake.

If you asked me I must say that this is unfair behavior because when the site do not approved the bet, it is assumed that your balance was intact and you do not need anything to care about your balance anymore, but to no reason after the match concluded and you decide to long in to stake.com and you observed your balance was drained up?
To frank, this could be a system error and I have also witness some few things about the site which I don't like because they need to advance on that where if a gambler have to book all his game and eventually he refreshed the page everything gets wipe off you must have to revisits those games that you have booked before, just imagined if you had around 10 matches selected and you have few moment for the match to start live what would you do if you incur such with stake.com?

Thanks for your comments, everyone. I’ve been betting for 20 years, so I’m no novice. I know this industry inside out. It’s not a huge sum of money, but the way they’ve handled it is very disrespectful. I had plans to bet large sums once the leagues resumed, but I think if stake.com doesn’t resolve this issue, I’ll carry on with my plans at another company. I reckon there are just a few lads on live support and they’re the ones replying. Live support hasn’t even bothered to reply to me since yesterday.

Once you press the "Place Bet" button, you will always have to check if it went in. It's your money, you always have to protect it.

So what are you complaining about? Wasn't that your bet in the first place?
