I want to share a serious issue I experienced on Stake.com, which completely stems from a technical infrastructure error on their side. Since their support team has been absolutely unhelpful, I am posting this here to raise awareness and warn everyone.

Yesterday (June 30, 2026), during the live match between France and Sweden, I suffered an unfair financial loss due to a technical system glitch. Here are the details of the incident:

🚨 Incident Summary & Technical Issue

During the live match, I attempted to place a bet of €652.17. While the coupon was processing, the system generated a "Bet Rejected" error.

Because the bet was rejected, the €652.17 stake was immediately credited back to my active account balance.

Since the platform explicitly stated that the wager failed and returned my funds, I closed the website, confident that no active bet was running.

After the match concluded, I logged back into my account only to discover that Stake.com had retroactively and automatically approved the previously rejected coupon without my consent or knowledge. Since the bet lost, my balance was wiped out.

⚠️ Grounds for Complaint

Lack of User Consent: The system officially told me "This bet was not placed" and refunded my money. It was impossible for me to monitor, manage, or cash out a bet that I was told did not exist.

Unfair Practice: Despite contacting Stake support, they refuse to acknowledge this blatant system lag and technical glitch. Reviving a rejected coupon after the match progression is completely unacceptable.

I have already submitted an official complaint to the Curacao Gaming Authority (CGC) demanding an investigation into their system logs for this Bet ID.

Has anyone else experienced a similar glitch on this platform, or do you have any advice on how to proceed? Be very careful with live betting on Stake.

Yes, I've experienced this on stake.com and not just on stake.com I've seen it happen on other casinos too.

The difference is that I know the bet can still go through even if I get an error message saying it wasn't placed or bet rejected. Because of that, I never leave the casino immediately after placing a bet. I always check my active bets first to make sure whether it actually went through or not.

That said, we shouldn't consider this normal. Just like what happened to you, you were told your bet wasn't placed, but it ended up being accepted anyway. And yes that's serious issue because players can make decisions based on incorrect information from the platform.

I used to trust this site, too. But after yesterday, I don’t trust it anymore. I had big plans for when the leagues started. I was going to bet a lot of money. Now I’ll never bet there again. They literally stole my money. They’re making fun of me in the chat.

never seen or read it before. a canceled bet is canceled and there is no way to find it again.
have you seen at what time has been placed? maybe you had some betting option "accept any odd", the odds changed during the bet but has been processed...

That's really sad to hear. It seems like a complete system glitch. What I do is that after placing a live bet on any platform, if there is an error, I always take a screenshot of it. And immediately check my active bets tab. Don't assume that a bet is rejected, it means it's completely cancelled.

Have you tried appealing to their higher support team with a screenshot, Bet ID and timestamp? Glitches can happen, but honesty and transparency from the bookies are important. I can't believe that Stake support could be unhelpful and could ban you for this reason. You could share the chat history if you have already talked with the support team.

I’ve been betting for 20 years. I’m no amateur. Stake.com has literally stolen my money, and the representative in the chat, called Lazar, isn’t replying to me. He’s literally making a mockery of me. I’ve also started a thread on the StakeCommunity forum. If anyone has an account there, please show your support there too.
