my friend tried this method last year. minimum wager requirements was .03BTC, ended up losing .12BTC 'cause he didnt win on the first try. so you also need luck. lucky and smart would win this tournament.

Indeed you need to have some luck because it is a game of probability which means having better probability will ensure you to get the first rank. As of now this might be the best chance to win the tournament. The probability on the first try however stays the same or probably someone could cheat by having multiple account? Im not sure about this

It's all luck what we need to win it. creating multiple account and cheating is possible, however it won't be feasible as one has to reach this minimum requirement to be eligible and i'm sure victor can catch cheaters with different techniques and ban them.

Ask victorhing about it via private message, I did it once on the 2nd day but I get no answer yesterday. Hopefully he will answer it soon as tomorrow will be the last day on the tournament so we have to make sure about our stats. Leaderboard was last updated on March 31, 2018 4:21 AM PST(you can see that by going on to the leaderboard/tournament page), now if you played after the last update your position/stats is not updated. it would've been nice if leaderboard got updated every 6 hours or so, i hope Victor improves it.

It would be much more better if the leaderboard updated in real time (every few minutes), as it is a competition so players are able to manage the strategy better to compete with other players. Our position may changed significantly in just a matter of minutes, so it will be hard to manage strategy because we do not know our exact position on the leaderboard especially in the last hour of the competition.
If victor will run another contest, then he really need to improve it. If there are rules like number of bets and wagered amount, so it should be listed on the leaderboard as well unless we can see our own stats on the site.

Yeah, real-time leaderboard update would be better, but i guess it's not be possible to do so, it might be because something might break or would take a lot work/time.. otherwise Victor would've done it.. i think he's currently using a script that updates leaderboard spreadsheet once everyday, maybe he could up the update frequency to 6 hours or even lower. i'm definitely in favour of real-time leaderboard update, it's necessary in a competition. we do not know if Victor plans to do more competitions, if he intends to then he should add a live leaderboard.

I think you get it wrong, based on my understanding about how the winning percentage is calculated then you will get 100% winning percentage only if you won 0.01 with x2 payout. Here is my simple understanding:
Your bet: 0.01
Payout: x2
Win amount: 0.01
Winning %: 0.01/0.01*100 = 100%

So of you want to get 150% winning percentage, you need to win it with x2.5 payout. The calculation will be:
Your bet: 0.01
Payout: x2.5
Win amount: 0.015
Winning %: 0.015/0.01*100= 150%

It means the higher payout(multiplier you use), the higher winning percentage you get. Correct me if I'm wrong about this. As per what I've done, I used payout x2.3 up to x3 in this tournament. Resulted with 126.8% winning percentage.

As per rules the calculation is win amount/bet amount, not payout/bet amount. If it works like what you think, then I'm sure I should have more than 200% winning percentage. because I was using martingale with  x2.3 - x3 multiplier and increase 100% on lose. What I understand is that win amount = the profit of the bet only, not win amount + bet amount = payout (which you use to calculate).

I'm totally confused lol. i had read this before, so i was thinking it's total payout/total bet!? i known it was meant for blackjack tournament, but shouldn't it be same for dice tournament?
