The Fine Print

- BitMixList does not collect your IP address or other personal data.
- BitMixList does not use cookies. A couple of features now use Javascript but we do not use trackers.
- In case of any issues, contact me by the forum PM or using the email linked in the website. If you have an issue with a service, use their contact details found on its page. Do not contact me about not-working mixing sessions or swaps as I won't be able to help you.

Disclaimer: Any platform can be compelled by law enforcement to freeze and seize stolen cryptocurrency, even if they are listed under BitMixList. However, no service listed will ever ask you for KYC except in that condition.

As we approach the new year, I am reasonably confident that this site will survive the January 1 mixer bans. Despite saying "Bitcoin Mixer List" in the title, and just writing that by itself does not break any rules by the way, the actual list of mixers is less than 1.3% of the site's content in words.

Ads have been binned across all sites. After thinking about it, I do not want to create a conflict of interest. I will not be running any ads there for the foreseeable future.

As a blog page, BitMixList does not meet criteria 1) and 2) of a mixer:

Something is considered a mixer if it meets all of these requirements:
 1. It has a feature advertised for taking property, improving its privacy somehow, and then returning roughly the same type of property.
     a. Even though you can sometimes use non-mixers to mix coins by depositing and then withdrawing, this doesn't make it a mixer because this is an incidental use of the service; the service isn't advertised as privacy-enhancing.
     b. If a site is not primarily a mixer but has a mixer function, such as a mixer function on a gambling website, then the whole site is considered a mixer.
     c. If the site takes coins, gives you a possibly-transferrable IOU, and will convert this IOU back into mixed coins much later, then the temporary conversion into a different type of property does not prevent it from being considered a mixer.
     d. If the site internally converts your deposit into other things as part of its mixing, but ultimately the point of the product is to get your original type of property back, then that's a mixer, not an exchanger.
 2. It is possible for the mixer to steal property passing through it. Assume that the sender does everything as correctly as possible. Also assume that no miners/verifiers on the base-layer cryptocurrency are evil. But assume that every other actor involved is evil (everyone able to vote in a DAO, every coordination server, every counterparty, every member of a multisig, etc.). Ignore short-term software bugs which are expected to be quickly fixed.
 3. The service does not collect KYC-type info from all users. (This is not an endorsement of KYC generally, or a condemnation of non-KYC services generally. Non-KYC services of other types are still allowed, and in many cases they are a good idea.)

Posting URLs to this site should be fine, although I advise against recommending the names of individual mixers directly on Bitcointalk, to stay on the safe side (posting mixer URLs is already not allowed).

All:

Please be advised that you may see a "Google Safe Browsing" warning when going to BitMixList.org on a Chrome-based browser. Apparently, I was told by Google Search Console that the page has "harmful content" though it doesn't say what. Note that BitMixList is a single-page site - there is no Wordpress backend or the like, and there is only a single HTML, CSS and JS file. Additionally, there is no downloadable content on the site.

The chance of you seeing this warning is very low but if it comes up (I have not been able to make it display), you can disregard the warning. RESOLVED.

This does not affect any of the mirrors.

Does anyone know why ScamAdvisor is showing BitMixList as being "very risky"?
You score a 7 / 100. The first mixer from your list that I checked scores a 1 / 100 (and has a "review" with a referral link). It looks like a bunch of automated BS.

The site "explains" it (I'm not adding a link because I don't want to reward them with another backlink):

Company Review

The identify of the website owner has been hidden. This may be done for a valid reason as spammers use this information to email website owners. Unfortunately is also makes identification of the owner difficult. We prefer if the website does show his true identity.

We found markers on this website promising an easy way to make a profit. Our experience is that investment opportunities with high returns are also likely to have a very high-risk portfolio. There does not exist a "guaranteed income" or "secure profit". Please invest time to research this company further before investing your money. Our article "High Risk Financial Investment Scams" can help.

Cloudflare is a Content Delivery Network (CDN) Platform that does not offer web hosting services. It simply offers web performance and security. Additionally, Cloudflare collaborates with IBM Cloud and Google Cloud Platform, which implies that the three businesses have many well-known clients in common. The Domain Name Service (DNS), one of Cloudflare's most well-known products, integrates security measures like a Web Application Firewall and a DDoS-blocker. Because of the platform's solid reputation, many reliable organizations and platforms, including ScamAdviser, use it; nevertheless, like anything else on the internet, scammers can still exploit its services.

Webshop Review

The Tranco ranking of this website is low. This can be considered low in relation to other websites from the website's country. If you think this website should be very popular, please invest additional time in researching the company as this is suspicious. For a smaller or starting website a low ranking can be considered normal.

Cryptocurrency related information and/or services were detected on this website such as digital exchanges, bitcoin-mining or investments into crypto-coins. These digital valuta services are very difficult to judge. Unfortunately, many crypto-sites prove to be scams. We recommend you read our article How to check if a cryptocurrency site is legit or a scam..

This website was set-up recently. As a result, we advise you to really take the time to check this site out before you interact with it. You can use our blog post "How to recognize a scam" to do so. Scam sites are often very young. They are removed from the web after a couple of months as too many consumers leave negative reviews and social media comments. Till that time, they will try to scam you.

Technical Review

The company seems to support payment methods that offer a "money-back guarantee" such as Alipay, Mastercard, Paypal, and Visa. While this money-back guarantee is not 100% secure, it does allow consumers in most cases to get their money back if the product is not delivered or proves to be fake.

We identified an SSL certificate meaning that the data shared between your browser and the website is encrypted and cannot be read by others. SSL certificates are always used by legit and safe websites. Unfortunately scammers increasingly also use SSL certificates so it is no guarantee that you are visiting a reliable website.

A new player has entered the no KYC exchange market
--snip--

They promise never to freeze any coins from blacklisted addresses but will instead return them to the sender.

At first glance, they don't seem to be super professional and their site gives me strange vibes. Strange to see such an "unfinished product" promoting itself on the forum.

When I access the site, I see this message:

Their support team is "available to answer any question".
But it looks pretty difficult at first glance:

Their ToS says:
Quote
When using Zeusmex, you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. You agree not to misuse our services, engage in fraud or money laundering, or infringe on the rights of others.
But never says in which country they operate and respect "laws and regulations".?

They talk about "own liquidity reserves" but I was not able to find any mention of proof of reserves, and they don't tell if you can ask one if needed. Could be nice to have more infos in the FAQ, it is very empty for now.

If you have arrived here from Google, then the Bitcoin Mixer List is on this site: https://bitmixlist.org

If not, then carry on with whatever you were doing before.

@JeromeTrash that is good to know.

I still have to work on getting the RoyalMix verification working for the letter of guarantee verification. The infra is there, it just needs a public key to be inserted. So one of these days I will check that and will have it working.

And also I would like to add a quick link at the top right corner that takes you to the letter of guarantee verification tool immediately. I think that would be of great utility.

September update published. New features:

- Added Godex, StealthEX, and Quickex.
- Now there's a warning that any mixer can shut down and take customers' money with them, even with a letter of guarantee.

Note: For some reason the Tor service on the onion host keeps freezing, and it only works properly after the service is restarted. I'm currently looking into this. For now, the onionsite is not working (again)

Edit: Maybe it's because of compression bombs in the Tor relay. Still not entirely sure what the root cause is, although the onionsite is working now.

I was asked by their CEO to remove their website off the list for regulatory reasons.
That's weird. I've never seen regulation that makes any demands for what third party sites do.
The only reason why they could demand this is if they don't want to be categorized as a private exchange.
I see that they reserve the right to ask for KYC from their users at some point, I guess the only reason they can be considered 'private' is because they support XMR.
Report to moderator
I have never heard of a situation where a company/business has asked for their name to be removed from a list. One business asking another to remove their name from a website citing regulatory reasons might be something common in general but is definitely not common here.

When did it ever happen in this forum regarding threads mentioning companies? Out of curiosity, if you did not adhere to their request, what do you think they would have done next?

Small site update today.

StealthEX has been removed from the list of private exchanges. I was asked by their CEO to remove their website off the list for regulatory reasons.

I am thinking about adding the following sites:

HodlHodl
LocalCoinSwap
Paxful
Noones
Peach Bitcoin (already on the site but it's in the wrong category IMO)
Binance P2P

Did I miss any?

And yes I know some of these sites require KYC, so I should probably note that and what the maximum amount you can trade is before hitting that threshold.

Edit: Robosats and Bisq would be moved to the new list too.

i swear i thought hostinger accepted crypto, at least that's what they say on the payments page (those fucking liars). https://www.hostinger.com/payments
I never liked hostinger and I would never use it for any serious project

i wouldn't even use them for a fun project.

only noobs fall for those domain and hosting companies that offer everything for cheap prices with fake discounts to lure you in, lock you into their ecosystem, upsell you things you don't need, and rip you off with crazy renewal prices.
they are recommended everywhere online only because they pay good affiliate commissions.

Interesting that on different page I found how they don't allow using their resources for mining crypto currencies:
https://support.hostinger.com/en/articles/8560191-is-mining-allowed-at-hostinger

because they use virtual servers with shared resources, if you are using 100% to mine crypto, it will degrade the server performance for other users.
most hosting companies don't allow mining, even on bare metal servers, as it reduces the expected lifespan of the hardware lowering their profit margins.

I have two announcements today.

ScamWhammer is making a comeback.

ScamWhammer is an old project of mine from my early days in the forum, that aimed to create one giant filter of crypto scam sites. It was abandoned for logistical reasons, but now it's going to be incorporated into BitMixList.

The expanded list will focus on phishing links of mixers, exchanges of all kinds, wallet software, and P2P software.

With just a few taps on your keyboard and a click of a button, you will be able to see whether the website is legitimate or not.

This feature will be added in a few days.

Eventually, SHA256 hashes and PGP signatures will also be supported for verifying downloaded software.

P.S. Expanded 2024-25 history will be added soon.

Announcing expedited listing for mixers and exchangers (No longer available, the following is for reference only)

BitMixList is a trusted web resource that has been running since December 2023, with over 5,000 unique views and over 20,000 non-unique visits during that time. Many people rely on the list to find safe services that will not scam them.

I am aware that some operators without forum ANN threads wish to get their sites listed.

Normally, after a project posts an ANN thread, I wait at least two months - among other things -  before adding a new mixer and exchangers.

In expedited listing, you essentialy trade time wth money. Eager operators (NO scammers/phishing sites allowed ever) are now able get their sites listed quicker. Below are the criteria for expedited listing:

All mixers (including altcoin mixers, Jambler): I must perform a manual mix on your website. Therefore the price is necessarily higher. See below table for reference. The letter of guarantee created by your mixer will be posted publicly on the website. Necessary in order to detect the output of "Stolen Coins" category! Exchangers: I must always do a test BTC => ETH exchange in order to ensure that customers' funds will not be frozen whether by the service itself, or by liquidity probiders. Bitcoins sourced from eXch will be used for this purpose. A letter of guarantee or invoice will be publicly posted if available, otherwise screenshot of the exchange result will be posted.
All fees are to be paid in Bitcoin or Monero. The entire amount paid will be used for testing the mixer/exchange.

Appendix: Listing Pricing

All packages include complimentary testing, AML analysis, and live order placements at "shotgun KYC" exchanger services.

Mixers pay $100*(60-days in operation). The price goes down by $100 every day, so think about whether you actually need expedited listing before purchasing.

All exchangers pay $50*(60-days in operation). The prices reflect the significantly larger number of exchangers in the industry, and also the much higher risk a user faces when using an exchange compared to using a mixer.

Privacy is a human right, not a crime. Therefore, I will support the efforts of other services who also agree with this.

I am aware of an error users are facing when attempting to navigate to BitMixList (http 522) on clearnet. Please stand by while I resolve this.

In the mean time, please use bitmixlist.github.io

I have determined that the issue lies with a faulty server. I am currently provisioning a new one.

Update: server operation has been restored. I am considering using a load balancer for when things like this happen again, but the only problem is that the IP addresses are on two completely different networks, so a local LAN balancer would not be possible.

Some corrections for the table.

I think the Swamp (tor) link has hHttp.. so 2x H's.
Also I think the Swamp and Genesis Tor links are swapped.

Thanks for doing what you are, appreciated.

You're welcome!

And thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Edit: Somebody seems to have reported one of my mirrors, and now a warning comes up. Please disregard it - we will never ask you to send us money

NotATether, what do you think about wizardswap?

They added this in their FAQ sometime back

They froze someone's funds not so long ago, though the OP of that thread never returned with an update: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5552585

I don't know if this means they can cooperate with law enforcement to freeze and seize funds. Perhaps even expose one's private details?

We are not a money-laundering directory. If a service is compelled to freeze stolen coins by law enforcement, there is nothing I can do about that.

I wish to not put a target on my back.

A disclaimer has already been added to the OP to reflect this.

Edit: Please read this post.
