Let's welcome another Russian instant exchange into the forum, all operating in the same way. At this point, i have lost count of how many of these services launch here, and are just rehashed under a new name a short while later.

Quote from: EXTRATUM.io on July 24, 2026, 07:20:55 PM

Our platform operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, allowing you to exchange cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies whenever you need.

But i found this in the website: Mon-Fri 10 a.m. till 11 p.m  Sat–Sun free time
Crazy thing about this exchange is even when you switch from Russian to English, many parts of the website is still in the Russian language: https://extratum.io/en/aml/
Op, please stop wasting everybody's time with this.

Thank you for your comment and for taking the time to review our service.

Regarding the operating hours, you are absolutely right. The website currently displays outdated information. This will be corrected within the next 24 hours. Our actual operating schedule is 24/7.

As for the English localization, that will also be updated in the near future.

That said, there is no real reason to approach a new project with prejudice. At least from our side, we have not given any reason for that. We understand that part of your work is to identify shortcomings in exchange services and leave feedback, as well as, presumably, to promote exchanges that advertise with you.

The issues you pointed out are real, and they will be fixed over the next few days. For that, we sincerely thank you. If you happen to notice similar issues in the future, we would genuinely appreciate it if you let us know. We are continuously working to improve the service, and constructive feedback helps us do exactly that.

Time will show how successful we are in achieving our goals. We still have a lot of work ahead of us, and we openly acknowledge that.

You also emphasized that we are a “Russian exchange.” In fact, our platform is not limited to cryptocurrency and Russian rubles. We will be adding many more currencies in the near future. We are only at the beginning of our journey, and we have no intention of stopping.

Once again, thank you for your feedback. Constructive and reasonable comments like yours help us become better.

And why is that, you only just recently posted your service here in the forum, so i expect that whatever is in your opening post should tie with what you have in your site. You can't simply throw the 'outdated infomation' phrase at us, how do we know who to believe.

Near future? That is absurd. So you expect your potential customers to translate Russian language to English whenever they want to get certain information from your website, that has to be a joke. I.e. your kyc/aml policy is in Russian, even when i set my language to English, you believe anybody would bother using your site when they see that.

I have not done that. I have only just posted about what i noticed when i visited your website. Things that any serious business should have fixed before promoting in this forum. However, while we are at it, do you have your own liquidity or do you use third party LP's?

At least you are not pretending to be a KYC-free exchange like many other services do.
I have some questions about your AML/KYC page. It's in Russian, so I had to translate it using the browser's native translation tool.

First you say this:

Quote

KYC (Know Your Customer) is a client identification and verification policy that is mandatory for all platform participants.

A few sentences further, you state the following:

Quote

In the event of suspicious or high-risk transactions, or as required by law, EXtratum.io reserves the right to request the sender of funds:

Passport details and a selfie/video selfie with the document.
Documents confirming the address of residence and source of funds (if necessary).
The video selfie must contain a passport with clearly visible data (series, number, full name) and a demonstration of the wallet from which the shipment was made.
Any other information necessary to continue the verification and comply with legal requirements.

Which one is it? Is KYC mandatory for everyone and from the start or does it kick in only for suspicious transactions/users?

Among your criteria for high-risk transactions, you mention "Fraudulent exchange." Can you give us a few examples of what fraudulent exchanges are?
You also mention gambling. That shouldn't be considered a high-risk transaction.
Sanctions is another high-risk transaction criteria. Really? You are a Russian-based service. You should know how harmful it is to to place an entire country and it's economy on a sanctions list. Are you going to prevent someone from Iran or Venezuela, for example, from using your service when you are both in the same boat?
Another criteria is "P2P Exchange Unlicensed." Can you give us a few examples of these unlicensed P2P exchanges?

Lastly, your chat is in Russian. Do your agents speak other languages besides Russian? How will you serve and provide support to international clients if they don't?

When a user performs an exchange, can they see which liquidity providers are involved in the operation? Do they have an option to select or deselect LPs they like or don't like? If that's not possible, then I think you should enable that option. Similarly, can users decide if they want to swap using your native reserves or go through third-party liquidity providers?

You mentioned that in case transactions require further verification and KYC, you prefer to return the money to the user, but you can't guarantee that will happen when third-party liquidity providers are involved. They will have custody of the funds. They can temporarily freeze them, confiscate them, or send them back. You are just the middleman in cases like that, communicating to end-users what the third parties told you.

At the moment, all exchanges on our platform are processed through liquidity providers. Currently, users cannot choose a specific liquidity provider or exclude individual providers from the exchange route. We understand that this functionality may be useful for some users, and we will certainly consider implementing it in the future.

Regarding KYC and potential restrictions imposed by liquidity providers, this is a matter we take very seriously.

Our goal is to prevent such situations whenever possible. That is why we work only with carefully selected liquidity providers that follow a balanced and reasonable AML approach.

We also strongly encourage users to check their cryptocurrency using an AML screening service or simply contact our support team before initiating an exchange. We will honestly tell you whether we can process your transaction, and if we identify any potential risks, we will inform you in advance.

Every case is reviewed individually, and we always strive to find the best possible solution for our customers.

It is a good thing that you are sticking around to respond to queries, just as every serious business should do.

Good to know that you work with carefully selected LP's, but as a new service here, that is just your words. Is it possible for you to name some of your LP's? So many services are notorious for blocking withdrawals and 'killing' users with kyc request, how can i be sure that wouldn't happen to me if i use your service?

For security and commercial confidentiality reasons, we do not publicly disclose information about our liquidity providers. This is standard practice for many services in our industry.

That said, we understand why this question comes up. If you have any concerns or would like to clarify something before making an exchange, you are always welcome to contact our support team. We will answer your questions and provide all the information we are able to disclose in your particular case.

In addition, if you would like to eliminate any potential risks before sending your funds, you can contact our support team in advance and let us know which cryptocurrency you plan to send. We will review it beforehand and let you know whether we can accept the transaction.

You may also use any AML screening service to check your funds independently. If your assets do not present any AML-related risks, exchanges on EXTRATUM.io are processed automatically, without any additional actions required from the user.

I’d like to share a quick update on what’s happening behind the scenes.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been working on improving EXTRATUM.io every single day. While some of these changes may not be visible yet, development is moving forward continuously.

We have a lot planned for the coming month. First of all, we’ll be gradually adding new exchange directions and supporting more cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies. In addition, we’re preparing several improvements that will make the service even more convenient and efficient.

We don’t want to make promises we can’t keep, so we’ll be rolling out updates step by step and sharing the details of each one as they go live.

Thank you to everyone who is already using our service, asking questions, sharing feedback, and helping us improve. Your support means a lot to us, especially as a new project.

We’re here for the long run!

AML risk assessment tools can show different results for the same transaction. They can come in handy to roughly see the risk associated with a person's coins but they shouldn't be relied upon. A customer could use tools A and B to screen their coins, but the liquidity provider that's used in a swap uses tool C which shows a different risk score. What's positive in all of this is that you are willing to provide these risk assessments manually by having customers contact your customer support team and asking them to asses the risk. It's good if they can provide 100% accurate information, not estimates or guesswork.

You may want to reconsider disclosing your liquidity providers. That shouldn't be a secret. Some wallets and swap services make this information public during the swap process and even provide ratings and additional info about the LPs. Being able to manually select/deselect LPs should be a standard nowadays if you ask me.

We continue to develop Our service and expand the presence of EXTRATUM.io across specialized cryptocurrency exchange monitoring platforms.

Today, EXTRATUM.io is already listed on:

• KursExpert
• WellCrypto
• Pro-Obmen
• OKChanger
• Topex
• Monik.Exchange
• E-mon

Monitoring platforms help users find EXTRATUM.io faster and compare current exchange directions and rates.

After completing an exchange, You can always leave a review and share Your experience with Our service. Your feedback helps other users and helps Us continue to improve.

We continue to add new platforms and expand the presence of EXTRATUM.io.

If You represent an exchange monitoring platform and are ready to list EXTRATUM.io on Your platform, please contact Us. We will be glad to cooperate.

With gratitude, the EXTRATUM.io team.

Thank you for your constructive feedback.

You raised several valid points, and we genuinely appreciate you taking the time to review our service in such detail.

Regarding our working hours, this issue has already been resolved. EXTRATUM.io operates 24/7, and the information on our website has been updated accordingly.

We have also significantly improved the English localization. The majority of the website, user interface, and documentation is now available in English. Only a few minor elements remain, and they will be completed over the next few days.

We completely agree that an international service should provide consistent and up-to-date information regardless of the selected language. That is why, after receiving your feedback, we made these improvements a priority.

Regarding liquidity, we currently work with third-party liquidity providers to ensure stable automation and fast transaction processing.

At the same time, this model also relies on our own liquidity. It allows us to efficiently allocate funds between liquidity providers, maintain fast order execution, and ensure stable service even during periods of increased demand or temporary partner-side limitations.

We appreciate constructive criticism, especially when it helps us improve our service. Thank you once again for your time and for helping us make EXTRATUM.io better.

Thank you for your detailed comment and for taking the time to review our AML/KYC Policy.

You raised several important questions, and we would like to address each of them.

Regarding KYC, you correctly pointed out that the original wording of the Policy could create some ambiguity. Following an additional legal review, we revised the Policy and clarified the relevant provisions.

Using the Service means that the User agrees to the AML/KYC Policy and acknowledges that verification measures may be carried out in accordance with it. However, identity verification (KYC) is not automatically required for every user. It is performed only in cases required by applicable law or when a transaction is identified as suspicious or high-risk under our risk-based approach. This is how our Service operates in practice.

Regarding the Fraudulent Exchange category, it does not refer to ordinary cryptocurrency exchange services. It refers to addresses and services that specialized AML providers associate with fraudulent activity. The names of the risk categories in our Policy correspond to the classifications used by our AML screening provider and are not our own custom classifications.

The Gambling, Sanctions, and other categories also do not result in an automatic refusal of service. They are simply individual risk indicators considered during the overall assessment of a transaction. Every transaction is reviewed individually based on the combination of all relevant risk factors rather than on any single category alone.

The same applies to P2P Exchange Unlicensed. We do not create these categories ourselves—they reflect the terminology and classifications used by our AML screening provider and the results of its analysis.

We would also like to thank you for pointing out the localization issue. Your observation was entirely fair. At the time the Policy was published, an English version was not yet available, so users had to rely on browser-based machine translation.

Following your feedback, we completely revised the localization. We prepared a full English version of our AML/KYC Policy instead of relying on machine translation, carried out an additional legal review of the English version to ensure it fully corresponds to the Russian version, and continue improving the English localization of the Service.

As for customer support, we currently provide assistance in Russian, English, and Ukrainian, and we continue improving the Service to better serve our international users.

Once again, thank you for your constructive feedback. Several of your observations genuinely helped us improve the clarity and quality of our documentation. We value comments like yours, as they help us continue improving both the Service itself and the documentation provided to our users.

We would also like to clarify one important point.

Our goal has never been to make the verification process difficult or create unnecessary obstacles for our customers. On the contrary, we always try to find the simplest and most convenient solution for the user.

Whenever possible, when a transaction requires additional review, we simply return the funds to the sender without requesting KYC. In most situations, this is the fastest and most convenient solution for the customer.

KYC is requested only in a small number of cases where a transaction is associated with serious AML risk indicators that require additional review.

We always strive to act fairly and in the best interests of our customers. Whenever there is an opportunity to resolve a situation without unnecessary formalities, that is exactly the approach we take.
