I do not think if gamblers think like this. There are two types of gamblers.
One who do not see the dollar value and focus on the satoshi being gambled. The bitcoin prices have no effect on these type of people as they will continue betting the same amount. 
Second type of people are those who look at the dollar value and if they want to bet like 10$ they will convert it in satohsi at current rates and bet it. This way the total satoshi's bet will be lower in days when bitcoin prices are higher.

In case anyone thinks that bitcoin is too precious or is too expensive, he can always use Doge to play gambling. I often use Trx and doge while gambling on stake.com and also you can save transaction fees too if you use these two coins for gambling.

It's basically protection against a bad beat, which is pretty nice to have. These promotions aren't really designed to give free money 24/7. I don't see a problem with only the first bet being eligible per match, as most people are only placing one bet per match anyways. That restriction is there so that people don't spam bet $50 on the same outcome to bypass the limit restrictions.

Mens side is a bit harder to hit, but if they are 2-0 up, chance are your bet wins anyway. I think there's a ton of value with WTA as it's not too uncommon for a player to win first set and then proceed to lose the next two.

I dont know if this would be just as good as getting money sent back to you if your bet loses. But you are correct, the restrictions for the bets to qualify are quite hard to predict. Even if they are on any match you choose to select from in all the matches being played in the tournament.

But darkstar_ is right, it is so to not have bets spammed so to collect on the money back guarantee for this promo stake is offering.
I was going to give it a try yesterday on the first mens side match between Shapovalov and Fucsovics.
The player who was heavily favored at 1.15x odds right before it started lost the match.

Australian Open money back promo on the sports betting is very tough we need to be very lucky to win the money back. As per the rules, only the first bet is eligible for the money-back and the player we betted on has to lose the match after winning the first two sets. The money-back promo could have been designed better.

You normally do not find gambling sites giving the money back offer if you lose a bet. This is the first time i am seeing this offer, although the conditions for this are though, but it is still better to have it on stake.

I dont know if this would be just as good as getting money sent back to you if your bet loses. But you are correct, the restrictions for the bets to qualify are quite hard to predict. But darkstar_ is right, it is so to not have bets spammed so to collect on the money back guarantee for this promo stake is offering.
I was going to give it a try yesterday on the first mens side match between Shapovalov and Fucsovics.
The player who was heavily favored at 1.15x odds right before it started lost the match.

So putting your selection on Shapovalov would of made you lose both the bet and the money back.
