I'm stoked to share SageSwap.io, a new platform we've been working on for swapping crypto without all the usual nonsense. You know how it is with some exchanges - KYC up to your eyeballs, JavaScript tracking you, frozen funds, or crazy fees. SageSwap is built for people who value privacy.

You can swap stuff like .BTC, LTC, XMR, ETH, DAI, SOL, DASH, TRX, BNB ' USDT/C. and a bunch more without signing up or giving away your life story. No logs, No Java, just a clean, secure setup. If something goes wrong with your swap, we've got your back with free refunds! We believe cryptocurrencies represent freedom, and freedom demands privacy. In a world full of surveillance and restrictions, SageSwap empowers users with full control of everything.

Resume:

🔸 Low Fees 1-2%!
🔸 Automatically & Fast!
🔸 NO Logs, NO KYC, NO Cloudflare!
🔸 NO JavaScript, NO Cloudflare!

SOL to XMR exchanges in NO AML mode have been suspended.

The high volume of SOL transactions in this mode prevents us from processing them further; we will keep you updated!

SOL TO XMR WORKS WITHOUT ANY ISSUES IN NORMAL MODE.
I would like to know why it's needed to suspend AML mode on Solana? Users who swapped those Solana coins were pretty high in AML score or there's another reason to suspend that mode?

You said high volume of transactions prevents the platform from processing them further, if I'm not wrong then everything at the platforms works on its own automatically or manual input from humans is needed for such mode?

As I mentioned, the excessive number of transactions and $$ simply prevents us from processing them; NO AML Mode works a little differently than Standard Swap.

But everything is fine now, and we can continue processing.

Without knowing SageSwap's exact architecture, I would imagine there can sometimes be liquidity constraints that prevent them from processing very high volumes. If demand is too one sided, that can create an imbalance that would affect normal operation for other XMR swap pairs. Replenishing that liquidity might come with an outsized price impact that makes it cost inefficient to rebalance, depending on where they acquire their XMR.

Most instant exchanges I’ve used disable certain coins from time to time. Fortunately, this was limited only to one coin in non-AML mode and things went back to normal quickly it seems.

Good to hear that from you, now it's clear that why sometimes those swap operations need suspension, another good thing to know is that the NO AML mode is working again and that matters the most.

Yes, I agree No AML mode most probably works in different way because users can swap high AML coins and overtime it's needed to do different things to make the overall coins AML normal once again. I must say that SageSwap is doing a great job!

AML mode not only applies to coins that users send to Sageswap but also to coins that SS delivers to users. We can only assume that SS does not have unlimited resources and total SOL trading volume to cover all requirements in AML mode.
Everything always ends in the supply/demand relationship

Hey SageSwap, after the coldcard attack, instant-exchange services like boltz are also being attacked and having flaws exploited, how can you protect yourself from this (more details in the tweet below)?
Is there any contingency plan?

To be clear: this is not a response to a single incident. Over the past months we have seen a steady rise in automated, AI-assisted probing of our infrastructure, and we have dealt with several exploits. Each was contained, but the pattern is clear: attackers now iterate faster than a team our size can find and patch. In the past few days alone we saw a drastic acceleration, and we do not believe this asymmetry will reverse. After reviewing the results of our own recent security scans, we cannot responsibly re-enable Boltz swaps, especially as we are being actively targeted by what appear to be multiple resourceful groups while we race to deploy fixes.

Hey, over the past 5 days we've run several independent pen-tests, which is why some of you may have had trouble creating transactions for a few hours over the past few days.

The tests didn't reveal anything other than one minor error that had absolutely no impact on our reserves, transactions, or affiliate related matters.

It may be a bit confusing that you say "AML mode" here, while on the website it is called "NO AML swap". It sounds like two opposite things.

Why don't you have any information on the website that a certain couple is currently suspended? As far as I can see, it is not even possible to select USDT (Tron) in (No) AML mode, but non-forum users do not have such information. Without it, you might be remembered as someone who doesn't have USDT (Tron) > XMR as an option at all

You're right, I mistakenly copied the previous version and just changed the name of the coin. Before, this feature was called “AML MODE” and now it's “NO AML MODE” so it can indeed be confusing. I've already edited the post, Thank you.

Yes, in past it was named as AML Mode but now it's named as NO AML mode and that's confusing for many people. By the way, what was reason behind changing the name from AML mode to no AML mode? Since it was already mentioned in the FAQS that AML mode allows coins with high AML and isn't monitored so why the name was changed then?

“NO AML Mode” is definitely a more fitting name than “AML MODE” because it literally refers to what it is. "AML MODE" could be a bit confusing.

Have you tested different providers?
Today it is very demanding to coordinate the settings for all providers, so for example recently there was a case where yahoo mail persistently marked emails as spam, because the DMARC record had p=quarantine (which is also a recommendation, I see that it is the same with you). However, in order to adjust Yahoo Mail, only lowering the criteria to p=none solved my problem

btw. Your domain is in the Spamhaus blacklist database, I would start from there with a request for delisting.

We haven't tested any providers, but that's because email isn't used as often by our customers as Telegram or Session.

As for Spamhaus, I don't remember exactly how long we've been listed there, but I think it's been since the beginning of this year.

Today I exchange approximately 5K from one crypto currency to another. That trade went fairly smooth and was paid out within minutes.

Then I started the next exchange (same crypto currencies) for approximately 12K. Even after many network confirmations are done, the trade was not paid out. It has now taken over one hour.

Before the trade I checked the PGP signed Letter of Guarantee. It was correct.

Just to be sure that SageSwap does not change its Public PGP Key for the Guarantee to invalidate the Letter of Guarantee ( it is listed here https://sageswap.io/pgp ) I copy it into this thread for future use:

Hi, the transaction went through without any problems, but it just took a long time.

Please contact support first and wait for a response instead of making false accusations. 9 minutes after we received your email, you posted on bitcointalk, and we didn't have enough time to reply to you.

Issue solved;

Yes, payout arrived. Actually it took quite long - but it arrived.

That's why we deposit money into escrow, so that such situations would not arise, but at some point we will completely abandon third party providers. We had to use them only because we had TOO MANY transactions. Please remember that SageSwap began acquiring its first transactions on December 4! And we were prepared for 4/5 times fewer transactions.

This is what they agreed to, otherwise we would not have started working with them.

I know some of you may be disappointed, but unfortunately you forced us to do this We weren't prepared for such a large number of transactions, and it really was a lot. I look at the transparency reports of other swap services and maybe one or two of them had so many transactions in their first month.

We can guarantee that you will never be subject to KYC or freezing of funds. If you are afraid, simply exchange amounts up to $2000, which is the amount of our escrow deposit.
I have to ask. The amount that Trêvoid received from you is only 16 USDT. I assume that the use of a third party in this case is not due to a lack of liquidity. I come to the conclusion that the system was not able to independently handle a large number of orders at the same time. Am I right?
How will you solve this in the future?
